Write a 4- to 6-page paper showing your knowledge, understanding and skills in the following areas:
- WMELS-three areas of language development: Listening and understanding, speaking and communicating, and early literacy
- Receptive and expressive language development from birth–age 5
- The difference between language and speech
- Home and schools each play a role in early childhood language development
